Pentecost Prayer from Our District President



Sunday, June 7 we will recognize our graduates from 8th grade, high school and college. Please join us just before each service for a slideshow celebrating our graduates!

 Virtual Prayer Service will be June 7 at 7pm. Our last prayer service was a blessing for all those who participated, so we’ve decided to hold another on 7 June at 7 pm.  Pastor Gillespie and I will again facilitate a time of open prayer during which we will pray for our nation, community, church and school.  We will also have a time to pray for your individual needs.  If you’re not able to join the service, but want a need lifted up, please send your prayer request in advance to me at [email protected]. Volunteers Needed for audio and video tech team. We will be live streaming our services and need a team of members to learn the equipment and help us on Sunday mornings. Training will be provided. We hope to have at least 4 people trained so we can have them rotate through each month. Please contact Kevin Lorenz if you are interested. [email protected]

Holy Communion will be on Tuesday's and Sunday's beginning at 12:30 pm. Please call for an appointment time 367-7225.

Food Pantry is open every Sunday 12 pm - 2 pm. Just pull up to the back parking lot and we will load your vehicle. Open to the public!

We are taking Nominations for the Board of Directors: Please submit your nominations for the 2020-21 Board of Directors vacancies by contacting a member of the nominating committee: Ed DeBerry, Joel Helms, Traci Meyer or Pastor McFarland.

Please Note: The LCMS Appalachian Servant Event (a mission service group) that comes to Emmanuel in the month of July every year, has been CANCELLED for 2020 due to precautions being taken as a result of the virus pandamic.


Every Wednesday at 11:00 am Pastor McFarland will host a conference call where our parish family can come together over the phone. It is very simple to join the call by following these directions:

Each call will include a devotion, a time to check in with each other and a time of prayer will occur. We hope you can join us for at least one call per week but we welcome you to call more than once a week.

Youth SNL Meetings on Sundays evenings.

Pickleball 6 pm - 8 pm every Friday in the gym. Equipment provided.
