Using the clear, accurate, and easy-to-understand text of the NIV Bible, it allows the stories, poems, and teachings of the Bible to read like a novel. And like any good story, The Story is filled with intrigue, drama, conflict, romance, and redemption—and this story's true!

Extra Resources

Exploring_The_StoryExploring the Story – This reference resource illuminates each of the thirty-one narrative chapters of The Story, a Bible that presents the overarching message of scripture chronologically through the biblical text itself. Commentary and accompanying charts and images explain history, characters, events, and theological concepts, bringing to life the “greatest story ever told.”

Heart_of_The_StoryThe Heart of The Story - For the expanded, full-length version of Randy Frazee's teaching on the Upper Story and the Lower Story, read the companion book, The Heart of The Story. In this 31-chapter book, Frazee thoroughly explores the theme running through scripture of God's pursuit of a relationship with us and how we repeatedly fail to recognize God's presence breaking into our world. This book is a great enhancement for your journey through The Story.

Gods_Story_Your_Story_Teen

God’s Story, Your Story Youth Edition – Is there a story behind the daily drama of your life? Being a teenager isn’t always easy. From homework to after-school jobs to having to think about the future, life can feel chaotic. But did you know that the chaos and confusion, as well as the joys and excitements you experience, are part of God’s ordered plan? In this teen adaptation of God’s Story, Your Story, bestselling author Max Lucado explores the divine narrative in the New Testament, as well as several contemporary examples, to show how your everyday life is part of God’s bigger redemption story, and that God is there, no matter what you may face in your life. Real teen responses and real-life application questions are also included to help you further connect God’s narrative to your own. Because God’s story is your story—and he is adding to your chapter every day.

Max Lucado’s newest book for teens, God’s Story, Your Story: Youth Edition, uses New Testament stories, modern-day examples, and anecdotes found in his adult title God’s Story, Your Story to help teen readers see the bigger, God-planned story in their lives.
