Becoming a Member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church

Thank you for your interest in Emmanuel. We are excited about your interest in membership and are delighted that you are considering making Emmanuel your family of faith. Membership at Emmanuel allows you to participate in key decision-making opportunities and gives you the opportunity to serve in various ministry areas.

We hold new member classes and adult instruction classes at various times of the year.

Elders Ministry

PURPOSE
The ELDERS MINISTRY Team purpose is be responsible for the spiritual well-being of the congregation and to provide for the temporal well-being of the pastors.

HISTORY
The Elders Ministry Team was formed in 2015 as a response to the latest congregational survey responses that indicated a congregational need to "better take care of each other." A nominating committee was formed to reach out to candidates to serve on the Elders Ministry Team.

Each congregation member has a representative from the Elders Ministry Team to reach out to and to be contacted by. Elders Ministry Team members are continuing to pray for and reach out to all congregation members.

Our head elder is John Jennejahn.

Emmanuel Lutheran Youth Ministry

Middle School Youth

Meets after school on Friday
3:30 pm - 5:30 pm

High School Youth

Meets on Sunday evenings
5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

During our first hour, we have free time, consisting of going to the gym, playing games, or watching movies.

Our Second hour consists of time in God's word. We use RightNow Media for video bible studies.

About Us: Emmanuel's goal for Youth Ministry is to create a safe place for learning to make connections with others, ask questions about their faith, and strengthen their connection with God.
